GFP Tour Stop & Giveaway - Lust on the Rocks by Dianne Venetta

Dianne lives in Central Florida with her husband, two children and part-time Yellow Lab--Cody-body! When not whacking away at her keyboard crafting her next novel you'll find her in their organic garden chasing grasshoppers and plucking hornworms all while drawing wild analogies between kids and plants and men. Definitely men.

A girl's gotta have fun, right?

When she's not knee-deep in dirt or romance, Dianne contributes garden advice for various websites and volunteers in her kids' school garden (a crazy existence to be sure). But at the end of the day, if she can inspire someone to stop and smell the roses--or rosemary!—kiss their child and spouse good-night, be kind to a neighbor and Mother Earth, then she's done all right.

Welcome to BK Walker Books Etc. Dianne! I'm so excited to have you here to chat today and I'm really looking forward to reading your book.

BK: Please tell us a little about yourself...

Originally from Miami (setting for Lust on the Rocks), I was a more tomboy than girly-girl but of course, growing up with brothers will do that to a gal, but I think the rough and tumble spirit is simply part of my makeup. College brought young marriage, quick divorce—neither of which dampened my dreams for HEA.

But finding the perfect mate is tough business. I mean, does that creature even exist? It’s the topic of my debut novel and first in this series, JENNIFER’S GARDEN. Women have become very successful and independent, you know, changing the rules at every turn. Traveling far and wide, seeking new and exciting horizons, our lives have become quite exciting in and of our own right! Why, it can prove downright difficult to find an equally and compelling man under these circumstances!

But we do strive. HEA is what dreams are made of and I wanted a slice of it for myself. Now granted handsome, smart and successful didn't work so well for me the first time I dabbled in marriage but I didn't want to give up. Like everyone else, I wanted it all. I had kids on my horizon (already named my daughter!) and I wanted to be whisked away by tall, dark and handsome, darn it.

Luckily I found him. Picked him up in a bar (though I can blame the entire thing on a match-making friend of mine—God bless her—because I was not even looking at the time!). But sometimes life happens that way. Grabs hold of you when you least expect it and throws you in an opposite direction, then back again, whips you around the block, yanks you to a stop only to kick you into high gear. I know, crazy but that’s livin’!

BK: Please tell us a little about your book....

Sam is a feisty lady lawyer with a lifestyle steeped in personal freedom and independence.  While family is important to her, she has decided to remain childless and husband-free.  Until Vic Marin arrives on scene, that is.  The defendant in her case holds the key to his revenge and his last chance for justice. But as he chases old demons, he uncovers a powerful woman with no inhibitions--one he wants to possess for himself. But decidedly single, Sam wants no part.  Until he walks away.

There is a sub-plot in the novel involving Sam's younger sister Jessica that pulls Sam and Vic into conflict regarding personal choices and decisions, ones that reach into their relationship and force Sam to re-evaluate what she thought she wanted from life and what she may desire instead. Lust or love? It's time for Sam to choose.

She has what he needs, and he won't stop until he gets it. Trouble is, what begins as a matter of death, becomes a matter of life.
# # #
One case away from partnership, Samantha Rawlings is forced to share her high-profile case with a sexy younger man, whose eyes are on a different prize. In the best interests of her client, Sam opens the door to his strategy. Turns out, a little too far...

Victor Marin has ulterior motives. The defendant in her case holds the key to his revenge, and his last chance for justice. But as he chases old demons, he uncovers a powerful woman with no inhibitions, one he wants to possess for himself. But decidedly single, Sam wants no part.

Until Vic walks away.

BK: What inspired you to pen this particular novel?

Women today are every bit as independent and successful as men and should live their life as they see fit.  I’ve always believed “nurture” played a big role in how men and women act and react as opposed to “nature.”  However, as I grow older I realize there are inherent differences between men and women, differences that cannot be ignored or discarded.
But looking around society, I see a major conflict in this arena for woman.  Fair or not, how we conduct our sexual lives has to be different than men.  From how we approach sex to how we react to it cannot be measured in the same terms. Remember, only one of us runs the risk of becoming pregnant—a risk with long-lasting consequences.

BK: When did you first consider yourself a writer?

Really during the process of writing my first novel, I considered myself a “writer” but not an “author,” because no one was reading my books but my friends. It wasn’t until I was well into the second or third book that in the course of sharing my stories with NY editors and agents I realized, “Hey, I am an author!” I mean, when they say you have talent, it’s not like your mother telling you—they mean it! (Not to mention they know a thing or two about the craft…)

And certainly once readers discover my books and find they enjoy them, well that’s the cream on the pie. No better feeling as a writer than knowing you’ve entertained someone with your novel. I love it. I never tire of it. And as a reader, I have even more appreciation for the job I do, because I SO love to lose myself in a good story.

BK: How do you keep your story flowing?

Easy—write with a huge poster board behind me loaded with color-coded post-it notes to keep me on track! Pink is for romance, blue is for subplot, purple is for turning points, orange is for emotional motivation, yellow is for scene shifts, etc. Of course these colors change, depending on my mood—except for pink. Pink always means love!

BK: Do you ever run into writer's block, and if so, what do you do to get past it?

Not so much “writer’s block” as sometimes “I’m not happy with my storyline.” For example, at the moment, I’m bored with my hero and heroine and want to move to the hot action quicker. But can I? Will it work within the framework of my story?

Maybe it just needs a bit more conflict. Juicy conflict, the kind I can sink my teeth into and simmer these two in for a little excitement. Ho-hum, I dunno. Still working it out…

BK: What is your writing process like? Do you have any quirks, or must-haves to write?

Mood music is about as quirky as I get, other than talking to myself. Or joking with my husband about research material. I like to have water, too. Keeps my brain cells hydrated.

The unintended consequence? Frequent trips to the rest room remind me the laundry is ready to be folded, the beans on the stove are about to burn, the patio herbs need watering…

Oh, mercy—the trials a woman must go through!

BK: Where do you hope your books/writing will be in the future?

My greatest hope is to find homes for my books in the hearts of readers. While most of my writing is considered light, fun, sexy and quick—quick as in speed read, not quickie fulfillment!—I’d like to think there are those who will look forward to my books because they offer some manner of fulfillment.

A few books on my horizon will actually veer more toward WF without the romance, but they are stories I feel compelled to write and thus, HAVE to write.

BK: What do you hope readers will take away from your books?

A smile, an escape, a second-thought, even a bounce to their step. While parts of my stories may make you cry, the endings will always leave you on a high note. I CANNOT be responsible for anyone losing sleep (unless of course it’s due to fantasy dreaming and then, by all means, I’m your culprit!)

BK: What is one piece of advice you received that you carry with you in your writing?

When brilliance strikes, write it down. Now I actually started this practice before reading these sage words of advice from the author of the critically-acclaimed novel, ROOTS, but it was nice to know I wasn’t crazy for doing so.  I swear lack of memory is a by-product of having children!

I have notes going everywhere—in the car, by my bed, on my cell phone (now that I’m technically advanced) and practically in the shower! But one never knows when creativity will strike and must be duly prepared.

BK: What is one piece of advice you would give to new and aspiring writers?

I would write the book of your heart. Write the characters you cannot forget, the theme that persists even when you dream… Don’t write to the market. Don’t try and become the next latest and greatest. Follow your heart, your passion and the rest will follow YOU.

BK: Are you currently working on any new projects? What can we expect from you in the future?

You bet! In addition to the WF story I previously mentioned, I’m currently writing the third in this series after LUST ON THE ROCKS. You know, the one where my H/H are boring me?

Yes, that’s the one. Ultimately it will be steamy and delicious in a subtle we’re-not-actually-doing-anything-but-feel-like-we-are kind of way—but I have to get them there first! ARGH—I’m ready for those scenes NOW.

BK: Where can readers find you?

My website is diannevenetta.com but you can also find me on facebook.com/diannevenetta and Twitter @DianneVenetta -- Goodreads and more!

Thank you so much for taking time to chat with me today. It's been a pleasure having you and I wish you much success in the future.

Thanks so much for the opportunity—it was fun!

Excerpt:

“It’s nice out here, isn’t it?”
The light breeze tossed hair into her face as she looked at him. “One of my favorite places to be.” The feel and sound of crashing waves reminded her of life’s ebb and flow, the powerful force of nature, the calming sense of continuity. Sam loved the ocean, from the deep dark depths to the slide of incoming tides across a shore littered with shells.
Vic kept his pace slow. Jean pant legs rolled up, he carried his loafers in one hand, allowing the other to occasionally bump with hers. “Why aren’t you tied down yet, Sam? Seems to me, a woman like you would have men lining up with proposals.”
She chuckled at his compliment. “I don’t want to be tied down.”
“Ever? You mean to tell me you never met a guy who did it for you?”
“Did it for me?” she repeated, amused by his choice of words. But she knew what he meant and relaxed into a laugh. “I’ve met a lot of men who have done it for me, as you so neatly put, but I choose to be single.”
“Why? Someone hurt you?”
“No.” Other than my family. Being forced to care for five little kids when you were scarcely one yourself wasn’t so great. But life did that to you. It put you in situations and forced you to deal—which she did. But that was behind her now and she didn’t intend to go back. Ever.
“You don’t want kids? Is that it?”
“Let’s say I had an overexposure at a young age, caring for my brothers and sisters and I’m cleansed of any desire to have my own. What about you?”
“What about me.”
“Siblings, nieces, nephews...”
“None,” he said, and Sam almost tripped over the soft quality of his voice.
“Must be strange.” When he didn’t reply, she said, “I’m sorry, that didn’t come out right.”
He looked at her and said, “Don’t worry about it. No big deal.”
But the vulnerability in his eyes unraveled her heart. Had he been hurt? Was that the reason behind his distinct change in demeanor, the wall that slid between them?
This was usually easy territory for a man. Unless there was a problem, rang the sentiment again. “Ever thought about marriage and kids for yourself?”
“Maybe someday.”
“Someday?”
“I’m focused on my career, but later, when I’m ready to settle down...” The thought fell away. “Who knows?”
“They’re a lot of work,” Sam tried to make light, willing the ease to return.
“But the connection is worth it.”
She turned to him and he stopped. In the distance, the sound of partygoers blended with the thumping base of music drifting far and wide. Behind them, a large wave crashed. Racing up the shore, it submerged them ankle deep, then glided across the wide expanse of sand as it made its retreat to the ocean. Something changed. The hairs on the back of her neck stood amidst goose bumps prickling her flesh. Vic’s gaze cut through the gentle evening light as he touched her hair, ceasing its lash across her cheekbones. Her pulse quickened.
“I had a nice time.”
“Me, too,” she uttered, her breathing reduced to wisps.
“I’m glad we’re working together.”
She could only nod, suspended by what came next.

VBT Pit Stop Hanging at the Max's Bar & Giveaway with Andrea DiGiglio - Finding Alice

Welcome to BK Walker Books Etc. I'm so happy you could join me today at Max’s Bar in Hell, Michigan. I can tell we're going to get along just great ;).

Andrea was born and raised in Michigan, she still resided there
with her son. Andrea has always been a writer at heart. Over
the last decade she has written, starred and directed in many
screenplays. She recently in the last few years decided to
venture in writing novels. She hasn’t looked back since, giving
it her full attention. She is very excited to share the wonderful
words she creates, with the world.

BK: Please tell us a little about yourself...

Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. I was brought up to do the right the thing, say what you mean and do what you say and that love is one of the greatest gifts of all. For over a decade I have worked at the family business but at heart I’m a writer and an actress all the way. It’s not really a surprise my mother is an artist and my father a musician. The day job puts food on the table for us all but our hearts reach for the world of arts each with our own muse. When I’m not writing or working with the family I spend most of my time with my toddler Aiden. That is a true gift.

BK: Please tell us a little about your book....

Alice is a feisty runaway who chooses to start her life over. What happens when you start your life over? Complications arise; love, destiny and everything in between come crashing down on Alice. I believe the blurb is the best way to describe the book.

Cursed with an intense version of empathy Alice runs from a wasted life to start a new one somewhere no one will know her; Hell, Michigan. Alice works at a hole-in-the-wall bar in the middle of nowhere mostly keeping to herself to avoid the overwhelming emotions of those around her. Alice allows her best friend to convince her into taking a few college classes without realizing it would drastically change her life forever. From her first day of class she was hooked on him; his scent, his eyes, the way he talked to her inside her head.

Throughout her struggles she learns about true love, true pain and the truth of her own heritage. Alice must quickly find out who she is because after all everyone else is out to find her. With Angels and Bounty Hunter’s in constant pursuit she finds protection within a group of Fallen Angels. These Fallen Angels vow to do anything to protect her; for it is their belief she will save their kind and all of mankind.

BK: What inspired you to pen this particular novel?

I love everything paranormal. For the last decade I had been writing primarily screenplays some of which have been produced into films. When I had my son I wanted to be with him as much as I could and filming wasn’t going to allow me the sort of time I felt he deserved. I am a creative being by nature and needed an outlet. Writing and storytelling has always come naturally to me so writing a novel was an obvious choice for me. This particular story, it just happened.

BK: When did you first consider yourself a writer?

The child in me is screaming 4th grade. I used to carry around one of those composition notebooks and it held all my best stories in one and the other was my book Marina’s Mallrat. The adult in me would say around eighteen, that is when I truly took it seriously.

BK: How do you keep your story flowing?

I write on many sheets of paper and create a timeline of events and sticky tack it to my wall. That way I know what I covered, what I didn’t and when I need to touch back on something I can see it right in front of me.

BK: Do you ever run into writer's block, and if so, what do you do to get past it?

All of the time! It is one of the most evil things I have encountered. First I take a break and walk away, no need to work yourself up about nothing. If when I return to it I can’t seem to get un-stuck I usually talk to one of my beta testers or writers in my writers group. Bounce ideas off of them; let them read where I am to see if they can catch what is making me stuck. Usually that works for me, on occasion it doesn’t. In that case I take a break for a few days and try not to think about it. Sometimes you just get burnt out and your characters don’t want to help.

BK: What is your writing process like? Do you have any quirks, or must-haves to write?

I make a cup of coffee and turn my writing playlist up before I even start. I spend a lot of time with my eyes closed as crazy as that sounds. I sit back and envision the story on the back of my eyelids like a movie. On rare occasions I will use my dragon speak software so I can speak what I want but I normally use it during revisions only. When I know where I’m going or get some serious fuel my eyes snap open and I look like a mad genius punching away at my keyboard all while bobbing or swaying my head to my music.

BK: Where do you hope your books/writing will be in the future?

I would love to make a career out of writing books. I enjoy storytelling to extreme levels and hope that in the future I can focus solely on that. We all hope our work touches the readers that clutch onto them.

BK: What do you hope readers will take away from your books?

You and the hard questions! The strength that Alice has was the most important thing to the story. I hope that the story is enjoyed and that the reader can live through her eyes and feel her strength and bravery and maybe take that into their own lives.

BK: What is one piece of advice you received that you carry with you in your writing?

Art is subjective. You do what makes you happy, some will love it and others will hate it. Just remember do what you love and people will feel the passion, It will reach out to them like invisible tentacles.-

It’s hard to hear when someone says they disliked your work but this reminds me to shake it off and keep on trucking along.

BK: What is one piece of advice you would give to new and aspiring writers?

No matter what else is on your plate keep writing, anything. Write what you love, if you are passionate about the work it will show through and people will relate to it.

BK: Are you currently working on any new projects? What can we expect from you in the future?

I am currently working on the sequel for Finding Alice, Alice’s Sacrifice (The Alice Clark Series, #2) I am also working on another paranormal book currently untitled with author Jessica Gibson. These two are the front runners of projects I have stuffed in my closet.

Interview

BK: Aaron, what inspired you to write this story?
I feel very stongly about the breakdown of the family and fatherlessness and how there is much dysfunction and despair because of it. I wanted to tell a story to shed some light on the situations that many face and hopefully bring some type of reversal to the current dynamic in whatever small way I could. I wanted to challenge men, fathers especially, to be who they were created to be....its certainly a challenge I face myself daily. A challenge that I often fail at but keeping picking myself up to start again.

BK: Did you model any of the characters after people you know?
I used many things to model the characters...people I know, other literary figures, actors, biblical characters, celebrities....the characters are a combination of all of these. I wanted them to be new and familiar at the same time, universal.

BK: Why did you choose the Dallas/Ft Worth area as your primary setting?
First of all, the south has a certain reputation for is deep spiritual roots (bible belt and all). I patterned the book in part after GONE WITH THE WIND (another book set in the south)...not in the sense of a love story but in the sense of "here is civilization that is about to cease to exist, come see it before its gone". In the case of my novel it is a spiritual civilization on the brink. Dallas just seemed to have everything I needed to make the story work from both a symbolic and technical standpoint.

BK: Do you have plans to write more books?
i have an idea or two floating around...nothing concrete yet.

BK: What sort of research did you do for the historical portions of your book? What did you like best about the research? The least?
My co-author and I researched deeply into ancient history for some aspects of the book....I learned alot of things....some things I'd rather forget but most of it was enlightening. What i liked best was that it comfirmed for me mostly what I already knew, there really is nothing new under the sun.

VBTC Pit Stop Interview & Giveaway with Jonathan Wutawunashe - Fulfill Your Threats

Today we welcome Jonathan Wutawunashe - author of Fulfill Your Threats:Simple Principles to Help You Succeed in Life. Welcome Jonathan, it's so nice to virtually meet you here.

Ambassador Jonathan Wutawunashe cut his teeth as a diplomat in Washington, DC and New York during the 1980s. Educated and trained in his native Zimbabwe, in Australia, the United States and Belgium, Wutawunashe played key roles as a top manager and leader in key posts and functions in Zimbabwe, North America, Europe and Asia. One of his more widely publicized accomplishments was his presentation of the case against nuclear weapons at the International Court of Justice in November 1995.
Ambassador Wutawunashe is a sought-after speaker and counselor who has motivated audiences at universities, churches, training seminars, trade symposiums and in other contexts in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. His personal achievements include writing for magazines and academic journals from an early age, musical compositions and an extensive discography that has caught the attention of researchers and writers on global culture. He has done creative work for television, for which he has received plaudits, and has also established several audio-visual recording and mastering studios. The Ambassador holds post-graduate degrees in literature and social sciences. He is married to Shuvai, and the couple have three children, Tinashe, Tendai and Paidamoyo. You can read more about Wutawunashe on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Wutawunashe.

BK: Please tell us a little about yourself...

I am Ambassador Jonathan Wutawunashe, author of the book Fulfill Your Threats: Simple Principles to Help You Succeed in Life. The “Ambassador” bit comes from my day (twenty-four hours really) job as Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to India. I am married to Shuvai, an immensely popular Afro-Gospel singer- a happy coincidence, as in my other life I am a songwriter, musician, bandleader, studio owner and producer/engineer. We are blessed with three children, two of whom have a significant following as composers and performers

BK: Please tell us a little about your book....

The idea of writing this book hit me between the proverbial eyes some years ago, and I can truthfully say that this was not one of those instant coffee marvels where the idea comes and voila, the book is done in two weeks. It brewed and brewed for years, and I kept testing assertions I wanted to make in it against the touchstone of reality, including the realities of my own life and endeavors. Fulfill Your Threats is about generating enough momentum, through simple, achievable steps, to ensure the success of your projects, which may be in the areas of business, social outreach, the creative arts or service-any imaginable area of positive activity. I try in it to communicate, not just a “can-do” message, but a “let’s do” admonition. You can call it a harangue, and you won’t be far from the tenor of the book, because I use its pages to light a bonfire under your chair (ouch!) to make you jump into the exciting fray of productive, meaningful life.

BK: What inspired you to pen this particular book?

I came to a place in my life when I realized that brilliant ideas kept passing through my mind and straight into thin air. What if I were to act on at least one of those ideas? Why not indeed? Let’s see…I am a musician and do have skills. Maybe I should start there. With some trepidation, I went to professional audio stores to enquire about pricing on equipment I would need to build a studio. I started reading industry magazines and visiting recording studios. I talked to bank managers. Momentum began to build, and within a reasonably short time, I opened the doors of my first studio to the public. When my wife came up with the idea of opening a boutique, along with a clothing factory to support it, I dove in with suggestions derived from my experience with the studio, and today that boutique is running on First Street. Quite rapidly, I became something of a consultant, and I am proud to say that many of the people I have advised over the years have attributed the translation of the visions they had into actual projects and products to the advice I gave them. It is from these experiences, mine and those of others, that clear principles of success began to emerge for me. I became a voracious reader of biographies of successful entrepreneurs, and to my excitement and delight, found that the principles that had emerged through my experiences and investigations were borne out in each and every case. At this point my pen became restless. I had to tell somebody-lots of somebodies!

BK: When did you first consider yourself a writer?

In grade school, if truth be told. My teachers always remarked that my compositions had more ideas per sentence than they had bargained for. I just enjoyed spilling it all out. Early in Middle School I started writing for wide-circulation magazines, and had poems published in journals of repute. The short answer is that I have considered myself a writer from the moment I became functionally literate.

BK: How do you keep your book flowing?

Some wise person said “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail”. To avoid shapeless writing, I find it useful to develop an outline for each chapter, which in turn finds its place in the overall outline of where I want to go with the book. This keeps my writing on point. When I sit at the computer, I keep a few index cards close to hand, in case a new bulb comes on while I am writing. I almost always have a Dictaphone within reach wherever I go, to capture ideas on the fly, and I sometimes use the machine to continue a chapter when I can’t take the laptop along.

BK: Do you ever run into writer's block, and if so, what do you do to get past it?

Once or twice, on account of multi-tasking, I have had a hiatus in the writing, and getting back to it has been a challenge, particularly with recapturing the mood of the paragraph I left hanging. My method is to just type the disjointed nonsense that might come in such situations. When the brain objects, it tends to correct the wrongs and to realign what eventually comes out with what is more normal. On at least one occasion, a round of golf, during which the brain was working on the problem in the background, worked wonders, and when I got back to the book, things were flowing again. Perhaps the golf itself was challenging, and the mind found it easier to go back to the writing!

BK: What is your writing process like? Do you have any quirks, or must-haves to write?

I work to a template. Sometimes the template is in my head, but more often it is scribbled somewhere. I go somewhere where I can be alone, and where there are no distractions. Interestingly, a room full of strangers who are minding their own business does just fine, as long as the noise levels are not high. Coffee or tea is a must, and a banana muffin does no harm at all. Train rides are great for me. I remember doing the outline for one of the chapters of my book on a Eurostar (the Channel Tunnel high-speed train) ride between Brussels and London.

BK: Where do you hope your books/writing will be in the future?

I want to see my books in airports. The audio book for Fulfill Your Threats will be out soon, and perhaps the airport presence can start then. I am working on my next book, The Sixth Floor, which recounts life lessons I learnt from a traumatic experience I had recently. When I write books, I am strongly motivated by a desire to use my knowledge and experience to help others achieve their best potential.

BK: What do you hope readers will take away from your books?

From the feedback I have been getting, a hundred percent of my readers either launch an exciting project while they are reading the book, or make a beneficial change to the way they are pursuing their projects as a result of the ideas I offer in the book. My hope, then, is that each and every reader walks away with a project in hand, or with an improved project in hand.

BK: What is one piece of advice you received that you carry with you in your writing?

My middle school teacher, John Jarvis, advised me not to write anything unless I know what I am writing about. I’m glad I took his advice. (I had written a poem about romantic love when I was thirteen).

BK: What is one piece of advice you would give to new and aspiring writers?

Work your craft, and don’t be impatient to serve it uncooked.

BK: Are you currently working on any new projects? What can we expect from you in the future?

Yes, I am writing a book on lessons I learned at a very difficult time of my life. I expect to continue to write motivational books that are grounded in reality, because I know real people who are being helped by my first book.

BK: Where can readers find you?

I run a blog at www.PossibilityPages.blogspot.com , a YouTube channel at www.youtube/PossibilityPages and a website at www.fulfillthedream.org . I would appreciate it if friends could like my book page at www.facebook.com/PossibilityPages . My email is: author@fulfillthedream.org .

Thank you so much for taking time to chat with me today. It's been a pleasure having you and I wish you much success in the future.

Thank you very much indeed. It’s been a distinct privilege.

This incisive, well-written book shares profound insights into the psychology that drives doers to do what they do, and to do it with confidence, method and persistence. Its energizing claim is that we can all be effective doers if we take simple steps to yank our ambitions from the realm of idle thought and idle talk, and to mobilize those dreams and aspirations into projects that achieve results that can be seen, touched and experienced. Wutawunashe draws from experience and observation to illustrate how business ideas, personal development efforts, social influence and other schemes can be pursued in a manner that assures effective, sustained impact . In an engaging style that melds entertaining anecdotes, humorous turn of phrase and powerful didactic principle in a uniquely seamless manner, Wutawunashe delivers a powerful manual that could well come with a warranty, given the ease with which the reader can apply these lessons and see results.

Sample:

In this my first book, I offer the thesis that success is the outcome of a simple process based on deciding, doing and learning. These activities are locked in a sequential loop that can be linear or non-linear depending on specific circumstances. Whatever the sequence at any point, however, one element is constant, and that element is you. You take the decision, you do the things you have decided, and you learn the lessons that are necessary for you to succeed. I readily admit that this is a blatant truism, but venture that too few people realize how powerful and liberating this obvious fact is. Most failures in life are failures in commonsense.
