Welcome to BK Walker Books
Etc. I'm so happy you could join me today at (Your choice of
location)_Las Vegas N.V.
BK: Looking out the
nearest window, describe the scene you see.
Out of my window there are big
fourteen year old tree, birds are singing a song as car’s seem to
pass by my street. It’s a wonderful summer day in Las Vegas NV.
BK: Tell us about your
office. Is it a mess like mine, or is everything in its place?
Kind of mess, but at least I know
where everything is. There is a order to my messiness.
BK: What is a must-have,
such as coffee or a favorite pen, that you need to write?
I need my Pepsi big time.
BK: Do you like to write
in silence, or do you need music or background noise?
I need music to write! I cant not
write without music in the background. I listen to all kinds of
music. It’s depends on the scene that I am writing.
BK: Tell us a bit about
your hero/heroine, and their development.
My hero’s and heroine’s are very
unique, I took lot of time develop their development. Who are they?
Are they good or bad? What’s there background before the novel
start? What are there strongest or weakness? That the fun part of
writing to me.
BK: As a writer myself,
I'm always curious how other writers get through stumble blocks. When
you find a story not flowing, or a character trying to fight you, how
do you correct it?
Luckily I only had writer’s block
is when my life is very stressful!
BK: Using the letters of
your first name as an acronym, describe your book...
Exciting
BK: How did your writing
journey begin?
I had away wanted to be a author
since I was little. What got me on my writing journey when I
decided to try my hand at writing a Fanfiction to the 1995 movie
Casino, a short story on my interpretation of the Nicky and Ginger’s
affair. Then I thought to take it forward a generation and let
their children (Ginger's daughter and Nicky's son) sift through the
intrigue that colored their parents' lives. That turned out to
be my first book, Omertà Affair.
BK: Using the letters from
the word, Summer, how would friends and family describe you?
Memorable
BK: What is the craziest
thing you've ever written about, whether it got published or not?
Okay, my friend dare me to write
this very erotic sex scene and I did to a tee. My friend’s face
turn very red as he read it. Great memory. Never published it or put
the scene in a book.
BK: Tell us one thing
you've done in life, that readers would be most surprised to know.
I haven’t got around of doing
something amazing just yet. Someday I hope I will!
BK: What can we expect
from you in the future?
I am written
two wonderful books right at the moment. Another mafia romantic set
in today's Las Vegas and Wildflower 2!
This
or That...
Coke or Pepsi? Pepsi
for sure!!!
Night Owl or Early Bird?
I’m an Night Owl. That’s when I write!!
Fantasy or Mystery?
Mystery as long as it got romance in it.
Pen/Paper or Computer?
Computer!!
Pizza or Burger? That’s
a hard one. Had to go with a Burger.
Rock or Country? Rock
all the way!
Chocolate or Vanilla? I
am a chocolate girl.
Beach or Mountains? Both!
I love the beach just as much as the mountains.
Thank you so much for
having us as one of your stops today. It has been great getting to
know more about you and your book, and wish you the best of success!

Book
Description:
Evelyn turned toward the lights
of the city. The view was breathtaking as she stood looking down on
Las Vegas, lovingly wrapped in Tony's arms. It was a moment she would
keep deep in her heart, forever.
"Look at this-The City of Gold!"
Evelyn exclaimed as Tony kissed her forehead.
"And it's all ours, Eve!"
Thus begins a heartwarming and harrowing
tale of life and forbidden love lost to one generation and found in
the next. Caught between a turbulent love triangle that shook the
very foundations of the Mafia's Las Vegas Empire, and a deadly
struggle for wealth and power, Mob Boss and "King of Las Vegas"
Tony Torino, his mistress hustler and onetime showgirl Evelyn
Rosenberg, and her husband top Chicago mobster Charlie "Gus"
Rosenberg live and love in defiance of the violent and unforgiving
laws of the Mafia. All that remains is Evelyn's carefully preserved
diary left by Gus to be discovered by his daughter Adriane and Tony's
son Victor as they pack up her late father's belongings. Through the
vivid and brilliant use of flashbacks, juxtaposed with current
events, we witness one of the most beautiful and ill-fated love
stories of the last century. As Victor, a forest ranger who fled his
family's Mob past, and Adriane, an attorney being pressured to work
for the Mafia, read through the diary old hatreds and new alliances
rise leaving us to wonder if history will repeat itself.
Excerpt:
"Adriane,
look at what I found,” Victor said peering closely at the photo.
"What?"
she said, walking over to him.
"It's
a picture of your parents, my parents and two other couples sitting
on the sofa at your old home. Hey, I remember taking this photo at a
party!"
"Ah,
it must have been taken before my mom went and slept with your dad,"
Adriane said, looking at the photo.
"Seems
like your dad was trying to figure out what happened back in Las
Vegas. What a coincidence this is. We were just talking about it!"
"Victor!
It's a photo that my dad kept in his desk, nothing more!"
She
rolled her eyes as Victor looked over at her and then down at the
very bottom drawer of the desk. He bent down and pulled it open.
A
look of astonishment crossed his face.
"Adriane,
what if we have the story wrong about what happened in Vegas long
ago?"
"Victor,
did you forget? My dad told his side of the story to the person who
wrote that sickening movie. My dad had no reason to lie about what
happened!"
"If
you say so, but I think that you need to take a look in this drawer."
